Initiative for Emerging Leaders in Israel
Meaningful Change Begins One Person at a Time
Leadership Fellowship Program
Maimonides Heritage Center / Bet Morasha Institute
The Leadership Fellowship Program will consist of exceptional post-military university students in Israel who display a strong commitment to the Jewish community, the state of Israel, and Jewish continuity. Candidates will demonstrate excellence in academic achievement and the desire and potential to assume meaningful professional leadership roles in Israeli society.
All fellows will participate in a ten-month educational program that includes, but is not limited to, in-person seminars, Zoom meetings, and weekend retreats.
Fellows will be afforded unique opportunities to interact with outstanding Jewish leaders in Israel and the diaspora. They will also receive leadership training, peer support, professional mentoring, and global network opportunities to meet Jewish leadership challenges in Israel successfully.
The goal is to extend the experience and connections well beyond the 10-month leadership program and create an alumni network that serves as a professional community throughout our fellows’ careers.
Mission and Core Values
Meaningful Change Begins One Person at a Time
The Maimonides Heritage Center and Bet Morasha Institute are committed to Ahavath Eretz Israel, Am Israel, and Torah Israel.
The Leadership Fellowship Program inspires, trains, and educates the future leaders of the State of Israel through educational initiatives, hands-on programs, and strengthening personal Jewish identity.
Our Fellows will have been selected from a pool of countless worthy candidates who we believe represent a cross-section of Israeli society. Each individual fellow brings a unique and essential spirit to our learning and leadership training. Our cohort will consist of an artful mix of individual talent, diverse passions, and a range of social action interests. Our fellows join together in the mission of transformational leadership.
